Wolves News 24/7
Is There Anybody There???
What’s going on at Molineux. It looks like we are being treated like the proverbial mushroom i.e. being kept in the dark and being fed a certain type of bovine manure. Fans have been informed that Steve Morgan wants to get rid of the club, but we at Wolvesnews are not totally convinced that is indeed the case. He turned up last week to see the defeat to Cardiff and if it is correct what we hear, he is constantly in contact with Moxey discussing the ins and outs of running our club and is still firmly at the helm.
We at Wolvesnews cannot believe that all of a sudden his pronounced loyalty to the club has totally evaporated and that he wants no more to do with the Golden Palace. It could be argued that if he really wished to sell the club that he would not be selling his best players as there was, when he made his sales pitch, still an outside chance of promotion to the ‘big boys’ league with the proverbial pot of gold on offer – some £96 million!
To us it makes no sense at all, why appear to devalue the club, placing it in an almost 'plateaued' position, virtually in no man’s land, if he desperately wanted to sell the club for a good price – it makes no sense!
We hear, particularly on the forums and indeed our own, Rumourmill, that many fans are saying that they are not going to take up the renewal offer for their season tickets, which again only seems to devalue our beloved club even further, but can you blame them? we think not! If the club wishes to do well with loyal fans and decent motivated players (because it's likely to affect them too) we feel that the Wolves hierarchy need to come out and let us know exactly what is going on, keep us in the loop, stop the secrecy and begin to rebuild those bridges that used to be the foundation of our beloved club!
Come on Wolves it's not too much to ask!!!
